Today I bring you some details of an extremely useful jacket, which is good to have both in your backpack and in your dressing room for all times of the year.

TROOPER JACKET - STORMSTRETCH® by Helikon-tex

 

The TROOPER jacket is ideal for situations with little wind or even light rain.

The fabric is breathable but also warm, obviously for lower temperatures it will not be ideal.

 

The TROOPER is available in several colours (Alpha green, Black, Coyote, Mud Brown, Olive green and Shadow grey)

 

In terms of design, it has several pockets. The two main ones, on the front, offer small divisions, an internal D-ring and the possibility to pass the wire for an earphone.

The sleeves have large pockets, and the sleeve on the left side has an additional one in the forearm area.

In the lumbar area the pocket is accessible from both sides. Finally an inside pocket (no zip).

The zips are (YKK®) except for the interior that closes with Velcro. The main zip can be opened either from top to bottom or upwards.

 

It is a very light jacket (715g), but above all breathable, for an intense activity using the TROOPER with primary layer.

In the armpit area, there is a zip that allows greater air circulation in that area, helping the evaporation of moisture.

 

Even in light rainy weather it is possible to remove the hood which can remain folded.

The hood has a small visor to protect the face, but above all it is adjustable, using the elastics located in the pockets and in the neck area.

This way, the hood can be adjusted to the user's needs and tastes, with or without a hat, and it is also compatible with the use of a helmet.

 

In the waist area there is another elastic used to adjust the jacket to the user's body shape.

 

Resistant? Yes!

The elbows are reinforced as well as the elasticated cuffs with Velcro adjustments.

As always on jackets of this type, the brand logos are quite discreet. We can identify them on the Velcro fasteners and on the zips.

The trooper can obviously be worn on a day-to-day basis, a simple, lightweight breathable jacket. I recommend it!
